BOOKINGS, ARRIVAL & VACATION
Please see the availability page for pricing. The cottage is available for weekly booking from Saturday to Saturday with arrival time after 3.00pm and departure by 10.00 am. Other times and booking periods may be available by arrangement. Short breaks also available.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS
To reserve the cottage we require a ?50 deposit with the balance due 8 weeks before commencement of your booking. In the event of cancellation we can only refund if we are able to re-let. Please read the Conditions of Hire and consider holiday cancellation insurance.

Shopping
For general groceries there is a large Booths Supermarket open from 8am to 8pm (11am to 5pm Sundays). This is a short drive from the cottage, address: Kirkgate, Settle. Tel: 01729 825190. There is also a Spar in the market square.

Electricity
The fuse box can be is situated on your left as you descend the stairs to the cellar. in the event of a power failure a torch is kept hanging on hook at the top of the cellar stairs.

Gas Central Heating
The boiler is on the wall above you at the bottom of the stairs to the kitchen. The controller is situated at the bottom of the stairs below the boiler The gas stop cock is in the meter box on the front of the house. Please do not tamper with the above unless in an emergency

Water Heating and Shower
The emersion heater is situated in the airing cupboard in the bathroom. The shower switch is on the left on the stairs.

Cooker & Microwave
Check that the "Cooker" is switched on before use. The switch should be off when the cooker is cleaned. The microwave has a grill function available. Instructions books on the use of both can be found in binder labelled "Manuals" (please do not remove these).

Dishwasher
Instruction manuals can be found in the "Manuals" binder

TV, Video & HiFi
Instruction manuals can be found in the "Manuals" binder.

Bedside Lamps
These are "touch activated" and have a 3 stage dimmer function. simply touch anywhere on the base to turn on, touch again to brighten, touch again to turn off. Beware - great fun for kids.

Breakages
If breakage's or equipment failure should occur, please report to the Paul or Janice on 01737 247179 or 0208 288 0505.

Coal
Can be found in the cellar. There should always be sufficient supplied for out of summer months but if you run out please contact us and we will arrange for more to be delivered.

Rubbish
Rubbish is collected every Monday. Please leave rubbish bags Collection outside the front door

On Departure
Please leave the cottage clean & tidy, as you would wish to find it & switch off the cooker and lights. Please depart by 10 am and put the key through the letterbox.
